Multi-Input Digital Scaler with Audio

4.5 Front-Panel Lockout

Under certain circumstances you might want to disable the front-panel controls

(for example, to prevent unauthorized or accidental changes to the settings while
the unit is in use). To disable the front-panel controls you must use the RS-232
port (see Chapter 5 for details).

You can remove the lockout from the front panel by performing a full factory

default reset operation!

To reset to the factory default settings, press the RESET button on the IR remote

control for 5-10 seconds. The scaler will turn on when you press the reset button
and turn back off when the software reset has completed.
