ASIAN VEGETABLE PACKAGES
4 cups thinly sliced zucchini
2 cups quartered mushrooms
1 cup thinly sliced red pepper
1½ cup snow peas, cut in 1-inch pieces
½ cup sliced green onions
¼ cup ketchup
¼ cup low sodium soy sauce
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. grated ginger
Toasted sesame seeds
In medium bowl, combine first 5 ingredients. In small bowl, blend remaining
ingredients, except sesame seeds. Pour over vegetables and toss to blend.
Cut aluminum foil into six, 12-inch squares. Spoon vegetable mixture evenly in
center of each piece of foil. Bring 2 sides over the vegetables and fold over tightly.
Pinch the remaining two sides and roll toward the center of the package to create a
tight seal that will not allow steam to escape.
Place packets on slide rack in
Black & Decker® InfraWave® Oven
and close
oven door.
Follow these steps:
When cooking time is complete, oven will give an audible signal.
Remove from oven and let stand several minutes. Open packets and garnish with
sesame seeds.
If desired, serve with grilled salmon and fried rice.

HOMEMADE DINNER BISCUITS
2 cups unsifted all-purpose flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. sugar
½ tsp. salt
½ cup vegetable shortening
²/³ cup milk
In large bowl, combine flour, baking powder, sugar and salt. Cut in shortening
using pastry blender or two knives until mixture resembles coarse meal. Stir in milk
all at once. Shape into ball. On lightly floured surface knead several times and,
using a rolling pin, roll out to ¾-inch thickness.
Use biscuit cutter to cut into 2-inch rounds. Place on bake pan/drip pan of
Black & Decker® InfraWave® Oven
. Place pan in oven and close oven door.

Remove from oven and place on wire rack. Serve warm.
Great with roasted or fried chicken and corn on the cob or Mexican flavored corn.
