WARNING:
To reduce the risk of injury, turn off and remove battery from tool
before making any adjustments or removing or installing attachments or accessories.
REMOVING ThE BlADE - FIGURE B
• To remove the blade cover (5) push and hold the blade release button (4) in the direction of
the arrow (fig. B)
• Slide the blade cover (5) backwards and lift it off (fig. B). remove blade.
FITTING ThE BlADE - FIGURE C, D
• To install the blade cover, position blade and garden shear hedge trimmer attachment as
shown in figure C.
• Fit blade onto the pins on the garden shear hedge trimmer attachment as shown in figure C1.
NOTE:
The retaining magnet (7) will keep blade secured to garden shear hedge trimmer
attachment.
• Place thumb on blade away from cutting area as shown in figure D. Align blade cover tabs
as shown in figure D1.
• Slide blade cover forward until and audible click is heard and the cover is locked into position.
NOTe: Alignment of blade with drive pin and alignment of the back of the blade and the
retaining magnet (7) is required when re-fitting the blade cover.
