Maintenance: Emptying the Dirt Cup

Maintenance: Filters

WARNING

To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock or injury, turn power OFF and disconnect plug from 

electrical outlet before performing maintenance or troubleshooting.

WARNING

Turn the red 

tab to the right 

several times to 

remove excess 

dirt and debris 

from the filter.

Turn the red tab in the filter 

to the left to remove the 

mesh frame for cleaning.

While firmly holding the 

mesh filter frame, turn the 

tab to the right (clockwise) 

to lock the pieces together.

TIP: 

It may be helpful to turn the filter assembly over and view the underside locking 

parts before completing steps 1 - 6. 

NOTE: 

You may rinse the 

filter and frame in warm 

water to clean. The filter 

and frame need to be 

completely dry before 

reuse. Cleaning the filter 

after each use will help 

your vacuum operate with 

the best performance.
