CLOCK button
Press to set or check
the date and time.
ANSWER ON/OFF :
STOP button
Press and hold to
switch the machine on
and off.
Press briefly to switch
between OGM1 and
OGM2.
Press to stop recording
or playback.
MEMO/Fast Forward
button
Press to record a
memo.
Press to fast-forward
during message
playback.
PLAY/PAUSE button
Press to play back
messages and memos.
Press to pause during
message playback.
ANSWER/MESSAGE
light
Comes on when the
machine is switched on.
Flashes when you have
new messages; the
number of flashes
between each long
pause tells you how
MEMORY FULL light
This flashes when the
machine’s memory is
full. You’ll need to
delete some messages
to make room for new
ones.
DELETE button
Press to delete messages after
playing them back.
OGM/Rewind button
Press to record your
outgoing message.
Press to rewind during
message playback.
CODE button
Press to set your remote security code.
RING button
Press to set the number of rings
before the machine answers a call.

Note — if you pause too long between the steps
listed below, the machine will time out and you will
need to start again

To set the
clock

Press and
hold
the
CLOCK
button until you
hear ‘
please set day’

When you release the button, the machine
tells you the current day setting.

Press and
release
the
FAST FORWARD
or
REWIND
button repeatedly until machine
says the correct day

Press and
release
the
CLOCK
button

You hear
‘please set time’
and the machine
tells you the current hour and AM/PM setting.

FAST FORWARD

REWIND
button until the machine says the
correct hour

Press and
release

CLOCK

The machine tells you the current minutes
setting.

REWIND
button until the machine says the
correct minutes

The machine tells you the day and time you
have set.
