The connector must be fully inserted; to disconnect remove the connector from the
plug of the electric blanket. Do not pull out by the cord.
Each side of the double electric blanket heats up independently. Each side therefore
has its own cord and switch, to be connected as already described.
The electric blanket must be used exclusively with the control device (cord with
switch) as indicated on the appliance (see tag of the blanket).
The electric blanket should only be placed on top of the mattress. It must be
straightened out and with the electrical connector facing the mattress. Any wrinkles
or creases should be straightened out.
The electric blanket must not be rolled up.
Lay the bottom sheet over the electric blanket, and make up the bed as usual.
Make sure the cord with switch is in place, that the switch is not placed under the
pillow or blankets, but is free.
Ensure that the power cord is correctly positioned and does not come into contact
with hot parts or sharp edges, or become wound around the appliance itself, is not
twisted and does not get caught on anything. Make sure there's no risk of tripping,
to prevent people from accidentally tripping over it or being injured. Do not place the
power cord under carpets, mats or rugs.
This appliance is not to be used with an external timer or with a separate distance
control unit. This is to prevent fire hazards should the appliance be covered or
incorrectly positioned.
If there is a fault or the appliance is not working correctly, switch it off and have it
checked by a qualified professional. Repairs done by an unqualified person can be
dangerous and cause the guarantee to become void.
