Ethernet
Primary IP Address
IP Address:
The default IP on this router.
SubNetmask:
The default subnet mask on this router.
RIP:
RIP v1, RIP v2, and RIP v2 Multicast. Check to enable RIP function.
IP Alias
This function supports to create multiple virtual IP interfaces on this router. It helps to connect two or
more local networks to the ISP or remote node. In this case, an internal router is not required.
IP Address:
Specify an IP address on this virtual interface.
SubNetmask:
Specify a subnet mask on this virtual interface.
Security Interface:
Specify the firewall setting on this virtual interface.
Internal:
The network is behind NAT. All traffic will do network address translation when
sending out to Internet if NAT is enabled.
External:
There is no NAT on this IP interface and connected to the Internet directly. Mostly
it will be used when providing multiple public IP addresses by ISP. In this case, you can use
public IP address in local network which gateway IP address point to the IP address on this
interface.
DMZ:
Specify this network to DMZ area. There is no NAT on this interface.
