“OVER”

Red Zone indicates when the file has exceeded the

apical foramen

Warning

The scale of reading does not indicate the actual distance. It indicates how close or far away

the file is from the apical foramen.

It is recommended to check the position with an x-ray.

Note:

•

The recommended working length is between 0.5 and 1.0 mm (blue zone). But it varies

across different teeth. Dentist should make professional judgement during operation.

• Use the right file size for the root canal diameter. If file size selected is too small for the

canal, this may affect accuracy of the reading.

•

Keep the access cavity dry. Excessive liquid will affect the accuracy of the reading.
