9.5 Specifications of the RS 232 Interface
Speed 9600 Baud
Data format 1 start bit, 8 data bits, 1 stop bit, no parity
Handshake none
Sub-D 9 Pin 2 = Tx
Pin 3 = Rx
Pin 5 = GND
The data exchange between the MIX 10 NG and the control is done via two-byte messages. The first byte
("ID") is always above 7Fhex, the second byte ("value") is always below 80hex.

The following messages are received from the MIX 10 NG:

N x (-0.5 dB)
21 ... 40 N x (-1.0 dB) + 16.0 dB
41 ... 4E N x (-2.0 dB) + 80.0 dB
