Apply blood to test strip
Hold the blood absorption slot of the test strip to the drop of blood until the
slot is completely full and a beep sounds. Wait approximately 6 seconds
until the measured blood glucose value is shown on the display and audibly
announced at the same time.
Normal value: 2 hours after a meal: 3.9 – 7.8 mmol/L
Fasting:
3.9 – 5.6 mmol/L
Disposing of the lancet
Unscrew cap. Place safety shield on a fl at surface and push the tip of the
needle into it. Pull lancet out and discard it properly.
Position cap and screw on tightly.
