Preparing the lancing device and monitor
Inserting test strip
Insert the test strip into the monitor with the electrode fi rst. The voice output
prompts you to apply blood. Wait a short time until “CH” is briefl y displayed
and the fl ashing blood drop icon is visible on the display and a short beep
sounds.
Inserting the lancet
Unscrew cap from lancing device. Insert lancet into lancing device. Hold
lancet by shaft and unscrew safety shield. Retain safety shield Place cap
on lancing device and screw on tightly.
