TROUBLESHOOTING
1. NO SOUND ON CHANNELS 1~6?
CAUSE:
Gain Control is set
counterclockwise (OFF).
REMEDY:
1. Make sure the “GAIN” level is not completely off
(counterclockwise) properly adjust trim setting as suggested
in this menu (pg.14).
2. NO ECHO?
CAUSE:
1. Channel FX volume is set counterclockwise (OFF).
2. Main FX MUTE control is muted.
3. Main FX Volume control is set counterclockwise (OFF).
4. Delay and Repeat setting are set counterclockwise
(Minimum Effect).
REMEDY:
1. Make sure the “FX” volume is up on the desired channel to
have echo.
2. Make sure the MUTE button on the “FX SEND” is OFF.
3. Make sure the “FX to MAIN” volume control is not off
(counterclockwise).
4. Adjust the “Delay” and “Repeat” controls accordingly.
3. SQUEAL?
CAUSE:
1. Wireless microphone receiver Gain is set too high.
2. Channel Gain Control volume is set too high.
3. High or Mid-range controls are set too high.
REMEDY:
1. Calibrate the wireless microphone receiver (if applicable)
(The following may require continuous adjustments in GAIN
and audio for your personal preference without squeal).
2. Adjust the “GRAIN” volume until squeal stops.
3. Adjust the High/Mid/Low controls for the individual
channel.
4. ONE SIDE PLAYS MUSIC ONLY? (CHANNELS 7~10)
CAUSE:
1. Audio cables to the input are not operating properly.
2. Channel Pan is not set at 12 O’clock.
3. Stereo Channels are used as mono.
4. Main Mix volume controls are uneven.
REMEDY:
1. Replace faulty audio cables with new, high quality audio
cables.
2. Set the Channel Pan to 12 O’clock in order to play both
channels at the same volume.
3. Channels 7~10 (7/8 and 9/10 have both Left and Right audio
inputs for stereo sound, the channels can also operate as
mono sound. (If used as mono, be aware that the Left channel
will play mono when no Right channel inserted, If only the
Right channel is used, the audio will not play mono.)
4. Make sure the level of both the Left and Right “MAIN MIX”
is equal for the same audio output to the amplifier.
5. NO SOUND ON MIC. INPUT?
CAUSE:
1. Microphone ¼ in plug may be connected to Insert I/O.
2. Channel Gain Control may be set counterclockwise (OFF)
3. Channel Fader is not set (Down; OFF)
REMEDY:
1. Make sure to plug into the Line Input when using 1/4” plug.
2. Raise Gain Control clockwise; properly adjust gain setting
as suggested in this menu (pg.14)
3. Raise the Fader to increase the volume, recommended
setting is at 0.
6. MUSIC VOLUME IS TOO LOW
CAUSE:
The Trim Control or Channel Fader is set too low.
REMEDY:
Adjust to a higher volume.
7. MICROPHONE VOLUME IS TOO LOW
CAUSE:
The Trim Control or Channel Fader is set too low.
REMEDY:
Adjust to a higher volume.
8. NO SOUND FROM MICROPHONE
REMEDY:
Be sure the microphone is turned on.
Microphone cable is connected properly.
Check the MUTE switch and fader for the channel.
9. MACHINE HAS NO POWER
REMEDY:
Check to see if the power cable is well connected
and that the power switch on the front panel is turned on.

. BAD AUDIO OR MICROPHONE SOUNDS
REMEDY:
Check the source of your audio (CD, DVD) to check for
damage.
Check your audio cables or microphone cables.
Use a better audio cable or 3pin XLR microphone cable.
Adjust Trim Control to a lower setting.
If using a wireless microphone, reduce the gain from the
recever.
