1. Clean as described in the “Care and Mainte-
nance” section.
2. Fully assemble as described below to famil-
iarize yourself with how to properly assemble
for use.
BEFORE FIRST USE
WARNING:
• Make sure the Power Cord is unplugged be-
fore assembling or disassembling, relocating,
or cleaning the product.
• Blades are sharp. Handle with care.
1. Place the Base on a fl at, level, stable surface.
2. Place the column in the center of the Con-
tainer onto the Motor Shaft, aligning the tabs
in the bottom edges of the Container with the
indentations in the edges of the Base.
3. Turn the Container clockwise until the tabs
of the Container slide under the tabs of the
Base, as shown.

4. Hold the Blade Assembly by the top and
place it onto the column in the Container.
Turn the Assembly left and right while lower-
ing it.
NOTE:
The Blade Assembly will rest about
one half inch above the bottom of the Con-
tainer.
5. Locate the arrow on the top of the Cover.
Orient the Cover so that this arrow points
away from the logo on the Base. Place the
peg protruding from the Cover into the top
of the Blade Assembly. Turn the Cover clock-
wise (following arrow marked LOCK) until
the arrow on the Cover meets the arrow on
the top of the Base. The Cover is now locked
in proper operating position.
