When using electrical appliances, basic safety pre-
cautions should always be followed, including the
following:
• Carefully read all instructions before using your ap-
pliance.
• To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not put
cord, plug, or mixer body in water or other liquid.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (in-
cluding children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowl-
edge, unless they have been given supervision or in-
struction concerning use of the appliance for their

• Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting

• Avoid contacting moving parts. Keep hands, hair,
and clothing, as well as spatulas and other utensils,
away from beaters during operation to reduce risk of
injury to persons, and/or damage to mixer.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter,
or touch hot surfaces, including stove.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord
or plug, or after then appliance malfunctions or is
dropped or damaged in any manner.
• The use of attachments not recommended for use with
this model may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner,
or in a heated oven.
• Check that control is off before plugging cord into
wall outlet. To disconnect, turn control to OFF, then re-
move plug from wall outlet.
• Do not use appliance for other than intended purpose.
• This device is not designed for commercial use. It is
a light duty appliance designed for home use only.
• Do not continuously operate for extended periods of
time. This could cause undue stress on the motor and
cause it to fail. Maximum recommended continuous
usage time should not exceed 5 minutes. Afterwards,
allow a cool down time of 2-3 minutes before next use.

a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit into the outlet, reverse the plug and try again. If it
still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
ElECTRICAl CORd
The cord of this appliance was selected to reduce the possibility of tangling in or tripping over a longer
cord. If more length is needed, use an extension cord rated no less than 15 amperes. When using an extension
cord, do not let it drape over the working area or dangle where someone could accidentally trip over it. Han-
dle cord carefully for longer life; avoid jerking or straining it at outlet and appliance connections.
