Mechanical bind in handpiece 

With handpiece removed 
from flex shaft, blade should 
rotate freely by hand.  
Correct any mechanical bind.

Dull Blade 

Improperly sharpened blades will cause 
loss of production, increase wear of parts, 
and operator fatigue 

Sharpening can best be 
accomplished by use of a 
Whizard® Model 210 
Universal Blade Sharpener, 
or Bettcher® AutoEdge.  
However, the blades can be 
sharpened by hand.  See 
Section 9.3
