OPERATION
Remember that this tool is always in operating mode because it does not require connection to an electrical outlet.
Always set the power switch to the off position and remove the battery before replacing blades. Always hold the saw in
front of you and move it away from the body. Keep your hands and feet at a safe distance from the work piece. Never
feed the blade towards the work piece until the blade is at full speed. If the blade is not at full speed, the saw can
kickback. This can lead to serious personal injury.
Do not force the saw. Do not use more force than is required for the saw to move through the work piece.
Wear eye protection.
Remove foreign material from the saw.
Make sure the work piece is held securely in place. Hold smaller pieces in a vice or secure them on the workbench
with clamps.
Mark the cutting line so that it is clearly visible.
Press the power switch to turn on the saw.
Place the saw shoe against the work piece.
When the blade has reached full speed, slowly feed the blade towards the work piece.
Changing saw blade
1.
Remove the battery.
2.
Twist the locking ring anti-clockwise to release the saw blade.
3.
Pull the saw blade straight out.
4.
Insert the saw blade. Ensure that the blade's teeth point down.
5.
Reinstall the battery.
Note:
The saw blade can be extremely hot after long periods of use
Sawing
Never lock the switch in the depressed position to provide continuous high-speed. The tool could stop working and
cause fire or personal injury.
Mark where you intend to saw.
Hold the saw in front of you.
Keep your hands and feet at a safe distance from the work piece.
Press the lock button and press the power switch to start the saw. Release the power switch to stop the saw.
The blade must have reached full speed before it is placed against the work piece. Otherwise kickback can occur.
The speed depends on how far the power switch is pushed in. The further in the power switch is pressed, the greater
the speed.
Make sure that you use the saw blade intended for the material being sawed.
