Maintenance and Cleaning
Every month:
– Always keep the machinery clean.
– Oil and grease the levers and adjusting screw with graphite grease, if need be.
– Clean and lubricate the piston and cylinder with suitable oil.
– Visually check whether the jack has been damaged.
– Check the state of the safety stickers and restore them if they have been damaged.
– Check the oil level.
– Check for any signs of iron oxide or corrosion; clean and make sure that the surfaces have not
been damaged.
When the jack is put back, lower the cylinder and piston completely, to prevent oxidation.
Do not use any brake fluid, hydraulic transmission oil or engine oil. Use only oil for hydraulic jacks.
