Starting the Unit
Plug the provided power cord into the unit’s input

connector. Then, plug the other end into a wall outlet.
CAUTION!
Whenever the unit’s On/Off switch is on, there
may be voltage present at the unit’s outlets.
Push down the On/Off switch to turn the unit on.

The green LINE LED will come on.
Let the unit charge the battery for 6 hours. You

may use the unit while the battery charges.
However, the battery backup runtime will be low
until the battery is fully charged.
Switch off the load equipment and plug it into the

outlets on the back of the unit.
Switch on the load equipment one piece at a time.

Please fill out the warranty registration card and
6
return it to your local Best Power office. If you are
in the U.S.A. or Canada and you would like to
activate the Warranty for the Transient Voltage
Surge Suppression Circuitry, please return the
registration card within 10 days of installation.
