Parameters Description
Date Read or update the date.
The correct date is important for the automatic decay compensation of the
isotope. A battery keeps the clock running even when power supply is off.
If the Uni-Probe has not been supplied with power for a longer period of
time (several weeks), then the capacitor may be empty. If the power sup-
ply is turned on again, then the clock starts with the last saved date. Thus,
the error due to the missing decay compensation is minor to negligible. In
this case, the date has to be updated.
Time View and set the time.
Differences in time have virtually no effect on the correction of the
decrease in activity. Verification of the time can help to check the equip-
ment functions. The time is buffered in the same manner as the date.
