FENIX
Fenix sheet material is used for different types of furniture. It has a particularly sophisticated look,
a soft touch and is very practical as well. Fenix has a certain degree of scratch resistance, reduces
fingerprints and is easy to clean.
MAINTENANCE FENIX
For daily maintenance, you can wipe down the Fenix surface with a clean soft cloth. If necessary, use
lukewarm water with dishwashing soap added. Always wipe dry with a dry wonder sponge, as this
will enhance the self-recovering capacity of the Fenix material. If ink, oil stains, or spots have set,
they can be treated carefully with acetone. Rinse well with lukewarm clean water and wipe down
with a clean microfiber cloth. Afterwards wipe dry well with a dry wonder sponge after. Do not
use abrasive detergents. Superficial micro-scratches (obtained by daily use), can be partly removed
using a dry wonder sponge: due to the heat, generated through friction, the surface recovers itself.
Please note: it is important to rub firmly enough to generate sufficient frictional heat.
METAL PARTS
Stainless steel | Powder coated (varnished) | Mat chrome | gloss chrome | aluminium
Clean using tepid clean water and a soft, clean microfiber cloth or chamois (‘shammy’). Do not use a
steelbrush, abrasive sponge, alcohol, scouring cleaning agents, silver polish or cleaning agents con-
taining acids or chlorine. Always wipe in the directing of the metal. Caution: Metal parts, especially
varnished or gloss chrome parts, are liable to scratching and can be more prone to traces of usage.
Fingerprints, persistent stains and small scratches on stainless steel can be treated using 3M stain-
less steel polish. You can polish up the material with a clean, dry cloth. Parts made of gloss chrome
can be maintained using chrome polish (for example car polishing products). Lacquer colours on
the furniture can deviate from the colour of the sample. This can be caused by the specific shape of
these furniture parts. This is especially true for round parts.
OILED STEEL
With oiled steel you see the material in its purest form. This means that the steel can show stains,
scratches, rust, structure and colour differences. This industrial look is inextricably linked to the
character of the material and therefore no justified reason for complaints.
BRONZE PATINA
With this specific finish, stains, scratches, stripes and significant differences in colour can occur. In
addition, this material is very susceptible to scrapes. These characteristics are inextricably linked to
this type of finish and are therefore no grounds for complaint.
MOUNTING AND MAINTENANCE
The mounting (hinges, rails, locking mechanisms) are generally maintenance free. During use or
when moving your furniture piece with the passing of time, small changes may occur that can re-
quire adjustment of the doors and/or front panels. The threefold adjustable hinges make for easy
adjusting of the doors in order to once more stabilise them perfectly.
1. Sideways adjustment - By turning the adjusting screw, the door can move sideways (for exam-
ple for the adjustment of the sideway distances), fasten screws tightly when finished.
2. Height adjustment - Loosen the screws somewhat and lift or lower the door gently into the
correct position. Fasten screws tightly when finished.

3. Depth adjustment - Loosen the locking screw, the door can be adjusted in depth, fasten the
locking screw when finished.
FRICTION MECHANISM
The friction mechanism can be adjusted. Increasing the friction: turn the adjusting screw counter-
clockwise. Decreasing the friction: Turn the adjusting screw clockwise. Keep in mind the friction
mechanism cannot be lubricated. The bar must be kept free from moisture. When possible, dry off
using a dry cloth.
METAL DRAWER RUNNERS
With ball bearings (recognisable by their rolling balls) there is no special care necessary. If with the
passing of time, a drawer no longer fully opens or closes, carefully open the drawer to its maximum
extension a few times.
