performance and the life of the battery. Please note that the battery at this stage
developed explosive gas.
After finishing the reactivation the acid level of the battery must be checked and
optionally refilled with distilled water. the activation generally leads to a loss of fluid
in the battery.
In the "reactivation" switches the charger after removing the Battery clamps
from the battery not automatically on error. On the charger clamps, the
charging voltage is still displayed. The next time you reconnect the charger
clamps to a battery can not be recognized a reverse battery! Therefore the
charging process is to interrupt by pressing the „STOP“ button before
reconnecting to a battery.

On charge or service operation the battery must have at least 3V to enable the
charger to start.
The quality of output voltage and current of a charger is very important. Undesired
variations and ripples lead to warming up and to wear the positive terminal.
The Berner battery charger are characterised by a very clean tension and current.
