The BHFL08 A recognize automatically 12 V batteries from 4,0 – 14,5 V and 24 V
batteries from 17,0 – 29,0 V. Deep discharged batteries could not be charged.
Charging Mode
Connect the charger to the AC Supply.
The RED-Error indication will blink in following cases:
- if no battery is connected
- deep empty battery is connected
- Incorrect connection of the battery cable
The charging starts automatically as soon as an operational battery is connected. If
the GREEN-indication “Battery Voll, the battery is full and the float current charging
mode became active. The charger can be switched off by disconnecting the AC
Supply cable of the socket.
Always disconnect first the chassis cable terminal and then the other one in
the battery when charging batteries in vehicles.
CAUTION! The Case of the unit is normally hot in the operation because the
case is used for cooling the electronics.

The quality of output voltage and current of a charger is very important. Undesired
variations and ripples lead to warming up and to wear the positive terminal.
The battery charger is characterised by a very clean voltage and current
