Checking Functionality of a Configured Replacement Driving Unit

8.4

Parameters and Configuration

8.4.1

Default Parameter Settings

The driving unit is set with default values at the factory and whenever driving unit set-
tings are reset.

Check the following items on the driving unit:

•

Did the start test run without errors?

•

Are the displays active?

•

Can an audible alarm be heard when the buttons are pressed?

Check the following items on the panel PC:

•

Is a driving unit – panel PC connection in place?

•

Does the user interface respond when the buttons are pressed?

•

Is the user interface bright and easy to read?

Have the panel PC and driving unit ready.

Connect the panel PC to the mains and switch it on.

Remove the seal plugs.

Connect the driving unit to the mains and insert batteries.

The driving unit will start.

Connect the driving unit and panel PC with the USB cable.

Log into the user interface as EXPERT or MEDICAL.

Check the following items on the driving unit:

•

Are the displays active?

•

Can an audible alarm be heard when the buttons are pressed?

Check the following items on the panel PC:

•

Is a driving unit – panel PC connection in place?

•

Does the user interface respond when the buttons are pressed?

•

Is the user interface bright and easy to read?

Switch off the driving unit. Close the driving tube connectors.
