This instruction manual is an integral part of the manual for the system in which this kit is installed. Refer to that manual
for all GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION and PRECAUTIONS.

DIFFERENTIAL/ABSOLUTE
THERMOSTAT
APPLICATION
This device can be used as an absolute or differential thermostat.
The following are a few typical applications:
- to use a solar water heating system to help produce hot water for a central heating system (differential mode);
- to use a solar water heating system to help produce domestic hot water along with a combination boiler (absolute
mode);
- to provide frost protection (absolute mode);
- as a threshold thermostat in a low temperature system (absolute mode).
CONTENTS OF KIT
The kit comprises one cardboard box containing:

INSTALLATION AND CONNECTIONS

Read the assembly and operation notes at the end
of this manual thoroughly before starting to install
the thermostat.
Make sure that the power is switched off before making
any electrical connections.
Proceed as follows to install the thermostat.
1. Open the cover by pressing a screwdriver into the
two recesses in the sides of the control box.
2. Remove the two screws holding the printed circuit
board in place.
3. Fix the base of the control box to the wall using the
screws and wall plugs provided.

Do not overtighten the screws to avoid twisting the
base of the control box.
4. Fit the screw caps provided in the control box fixing
screw housings.
