Dangerous situations can result any time the
device is used for purposes beyond or other than
those intended.
Therefore:
– Use the device only as intended.
– Strictly adhere to all specifications in this
operating manual.
– Only BERCHTOLD personnel or technicians
expressly authorized by BERCHTOLD may install,
modify or repair the devices.
The following uses are prohibited, in particular:
– Operation in areas where there is danger of
explosion. The surgical lights are a potential
source of ignition.
– Operation with a damaged underglass or filter
system.
– Placement of objects on the light head or
hanging objects from the swivel arms and light
head.
Claims of any kind due to damage resulting from improper use
are excluded.
The operator is solely responsible for damages resulting from
improper use.
