SOME SAFEGUARDS
• This appliance is for household only.
• Do not touch hot surfaces.
• To protect against risk of electric shock, do not immerse the cord, plug or cooking unit in water or any other
liquid.
• Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used and specially when used near children.
• Unplug the appliance from socket when not in use and before cleaning. Let the appliance cool down before
putting on, taking off and before cleaning the plates.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not let power cord hang over the edge of the table, or touch hot surfaces.
• Do not place on or near heating and/or gas sources.
• Unplug the appliance when finished using.
• Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
• Do not operate the appliance by using an external timer or separate remote-control system.
• Pay extreme caution when moving the appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.

BEFORE FIRST USE
• Remove all packaging
• Clean the cooking plates by wiping a sponge or cloth dampened in warm water.
DO NOT IMMERSE THE UNIT AND DO NOT RUN WATER DIRECTLY ONT THE COOKING PLATES.
• Dry with a cloth or paper towel.
• For best results, lightly coat the cooking plates with some drops of olive oil.
Notice: When the appliance is heated for the first time, it may emit slight smoke or smoke odor. This is normal
and does not affect the safety of your appliance.
HOW TO USE
Please make sure that the plates are well installed.
Close the appliance and plug it into the socket, the red power light lights on. At this time, you can use the ther-
mostat knob to set the temperature to your desired setting from “MIN” to “MAX”. It is suggested to set first in the
middle than adjust it lower or higher according to the type of the food and personal taste.
The appliance will take approximately 3~5 minutes to heat, when the green ready lights will be on it means the
appliance reach the selected temperature.
Lift the upper housing and place the food onto the bottom cooking plate.
Close the upper housing to start cooking.
When the foods is cooked lift the upper housing by using the handle. Remove the food with the help of a plastic
utensil.
NEVER
use metal utensils as they can cause damage to the non-stick coating of the cook plates.
When cooking different type of food at the same time, it is important that the thickness of the food is the same so
the cover will close correct and the cooking will
be equal.
