PRECAUTIONS
Read carefully these instructions that detailed important information about security, use
and care. Keep it carefully for next use.
Remove the packing and make sure that the appliance is intact, with special attention to
the supply cable.
The elements of the packing (plastic bags, polystyrene, etc) do not have to be accessible
to the children, in order to preserve them from danger sources.
Before connecting the appliance make sure that the mains voltage corresponds to the data specified
on the label.
If the plug does not suit the socket, let it be replaced with another suitable plug by qualified person
nel only, which shall also ensure that the section of the socket cables is suitable for your appliance
power absorption. Generally, the use adaptors multiple plugs and/or extensions is not recommen
ded; should they be necessary, please use only simple or multiple adaptors and extensions in com
pliance with the safety rules in force, making sure that the capacity absorption limit marked on the
simple adaptors and the extensions and the maximum power limit marked on the multiple adaptor
are not exceeded.
The security of the appliance is only guaranted if correctly earth plugged. If necessary make the
socket controlled by a professional. The manufacturer cannot be responsible of damages if the
appliance is not earth plugged.
In case of breakdown and/or bad use, turn off the scale and do not manipulate it. For make it repai
red only contact the assistance centre authorized by the manufacturer and ask for original spare
parts. The nonrespect of these rules may compromise your security.
If the cord supply is damaged ask to the authorized assistance centre to replace it.
The installation must be made according to the instructions of the manufacturer. A bad installation
can cause damages to people, pets or objects, for those the manufacturer cannot be responsible,
and avoid the warranty.
This appliance is to be destined to its special purpose only. Any other use is to be considered as
improper and thus dangerous. The manufacturer cannot be responsible for any damages deriving
from improper, wrong or incautious use. Using the appliance means to follow some rules such as:
· do not touch the appliance with wet or damps hands;
· do not use the appliance with naked feet;
· do not let children use the appliance without supervision;
· do not use the appliance near explosive and/or inflammable substances;
· do not pull on the cord supply or the appliance itself to unplug it from the socket;
· do not expose the appliance to atmospheric agents such as rain, sun …
Before cleaning or care, unplug the appliance from the socket.
If you do no longer use the appliance it is recommended to cut the cord supply, after the appliance is
unplugged from the socket and destroy all the parts that could be dangerous, especially for children
that can use them for playing.
Do not let the appliance plugged on the socket when not used.
