Steam Hair Straightener Use instructions
8
The European directive 2011/65/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires
that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal unsorted municipal
waste stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and
recycling of the materials they contain, and reduce the impact on human health and the environment.
The crossed out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation, that when you
dispose of the appliance, it must be separately collected.
Use the +/- key to set the appropriate temperature.
In general, it is suggested to choose a lower temperature (180 °C) for thin, discolored and / or sensitive hair, and
a high temperature (230 ° C) for curly hair, thick and / or difficult to comb.
Continue to straighten the hair, previously separated in locks, from the roots to the tips, without stopping to avoid
burning your hair.
It is better to wait for the hair to cool down before brushing it, to avoid compromising the result.
When finished, switch off the appliance using the ON / OFF button and disconnect the appliance.
Use with steam
Make sure the tank is full.
Activate the steam function with the appropriate switch.
Proceed as described in the paragraph “Use without steam” above.
Cleaning
Unplug the appliance and allow it to cool completely.
Always empty the tank after each use.
Clean the plates with a slightly dampened, soft cloth without detergent to preserve the optimum quality of the
plates. Do not scratch the plates.
Use preferably distilled water to fill the tank. If not, remove limestone from the appliance periodically.
