OSD controls
Locking and unlocking the OSD control keys
You can lock the OSD control keys to prevent the settings from being accidentally changed.
1. Go to
Setup
>
OSD lock
.
2. You are provided with 2 kinds of OSD lock.
Mode 0
allows you to select an input source
and brightness, while
Mode 1
allows you to access different user profiles, an input source,
and brightness. See
OSD lock on page 33
for more information.
3. To release the locked control keys, press and hold the key for 5 seconds.
To disable OSD lock, go to
Setup
>
OSD lock
>
Off
.
Customizing the function keys
The left 2 perform as functions keys to provide direct access to pre-defined functions. You can
change the default setting and designate different functions for these keys.
1. Go to
Setup
>
Func. key
.
2. Select the function key you want to change.
3. In the sub menu, select a function that can be accessed by this key.
Changing a
Preset mode
Your monitor provides various preset modes that are suitable for different types of images. And
you can choose different preset modes for the main and the sub screens respectively.
Go to
Main screen
or
Sub screen
and
Preset mode
for a desired mode. Different options
may be offered depending on the selected picture mode. See
Preset mode on page 28
for more
information.
Adjusting
Brightness
To adjust the brightness of the monitor, go to
Display
>
Brightness

Using
User Profile
The monitor can keep the preference of display settings of up to 10 users.
•If you prefer to keep the current display settings, go to

User Profile
>
Save
