2.10 Type in the name of batch file to start BIOS upgrade process, in this case, “0811” is the
batch file name.
2.11 After BIOS upgrade process done, reboot the MID.

OS restore
There are 2 methods to restore OS. 1. Using Recovery DVD, 2. Using USB disk (4GB capacity
is preferred)
3.1 Recovery DVD
The system recovery feature lets you restore your system to the factory default settings. Should
the system become unstable or damaged, to recover the system with the recovery solution in
the provided Recovery DVD is recommended.

Make sure your device is connected to AC power before performing the operation.
Before you perform the system recovery, make sure that you have the following items on
hand:
z
the recovery DVD that came with your device
z
a computer that comes with a optical drive which can read DVD format
z
a completely empty USB flash drive, with minimum capacity of 2 GB.
z
the provided USB connection cable
3.1.1 Recovering the device to factory default settings
Step1. Insert the provided recovery DVD into the optical drive on your computer.
Step2. A dialog box appears. Follow the on-screen instruction to connect the USB flash drive
to the computer. And click Make Recovery USB Disk to proceed. Or click the close (cross)
button at the top right corner of the dialog box to exit.
