Shortcuts
You can assign one important
number/function to each softkey, the
navigation key (up, down, left, right)
and the number keys 2 to 9. These keys
can then be used as shortcuts to start
functions/dial numbers (speed-dial
numbers).
Setting a function shortcut
1. Select the desired key and confirm
with .
2. Select the shortcut function and
confirm with

Setting a speed-dial key
To assign a number to a key select the
Assign speed dial
and then select the
desired contact.
Start function/call number using
shortcuts
• Press the corresponding softkey and
navigation key briefly to start the
function.
• Press and hold a corresponding
number key to start the function/dial
number.

When you make a call, your number
can be shown or suppressed on the
called party’s display.

cannot change its function.
If no function is assigned, you can set a
function by
• pressing and holding the number key
in standby mode and confirming your
request.
• pressing the softkey and navigation key
briefly.
The service provider may have already as-
signed functions to a softkey (for exam-
ple, access to "SIM services" or direct call-
up of the Internet portal). It may not be
possible to modify this key assignment.
The left softkey may sometimes be re-
placed automatically by
View
to access a
new message, for example.
