4.5 Temperature calibration and alarm setting of temperature
It is impossible to estimate the temperature difference between the body surface and its actual
temperature, because the surface temperature of human body is greatly affected by changes in the
external environment.
First, the staff can use a normal
thermometer to measure the body temperature of one to three
people as a referenced temperature. And calculate the difference by comparing the temperature data
with the temperature measured by IRD 120A system.
Then calibrate the temperature for IRD120A system by clicking the icon
on the
upper right corner of the screen and imputing the temperature difference by sliding the temperature
value on the screen as Figure 4.6 shows.
For example, the referenced temperature measured by thermometer of the people is 36 ° C,
and the temperature measured by IRD 120 is 35 ° C. Then you can calibrate the temperature for
IRD 120 system by clicking the icon on the screen and slide the temperature value on the left side
as Figure 4.6 shows, choosing 1.0 ° C, and pressing the confirm button.
At the same time, it is recommended to calibrate IRD120A system temperature by 1.0
° C, and
set 37.5 ° C as the alarm temperature.
