5.   FUNCTIONS DESCRIPTION

5.1  So� Start

Se�ng the following parameters, it is possible to set up the excita�on ramp of the Generator (Output Voltage vs Time): 

The voltage ramp is controlled also by the V/Hz limiter (see 5.2)

5.2  V/Hz Limiter (Under-frequency protec�on Effects) 

The ramp of the generator voltage is influenced by the frequency. The V/Hz limiter is always ac�ve in order to avoid overflux situa�on. It 

reduces the voltage when the frequency (the speed) drops below the knee point.
