Table/Desk Installation
Charge the Handset Battery
Place the handset in the charger. Charge the battery for at least 16 hours the first time.
Check for Dial Tone
After the batteries are charged, pick up the handset and press
ON
; you should hear a dial tone. If you
do not, try this phone in another phone jack.
Installation
Standard
electrical outlet
Connect the power cord.
After charging the battery for
at least 16 hours, connect the
telephone line cord.
• Install the base unit
away from electronic
equipment such as
personal computers,
television sets or
microwave ovens.
Avoid excessive
heat, cold, dust or
moisture.
