Care and Cleaning
CAUTION: To prevent damage to the
appliance, do not use alkaline cleaning
agents when cleaning, use a soft cloth and
a mild detergent.
1. Remove the plug from the wall outlet and let
the appliance completely cool down before
cleaning.
2. Do not immerse power cord, kettle and
Power Base in water or any other liquids.
3. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh
chemicals to wipe the housing.
4. Periodical descaling is needed. The interval of
descaling depends on the quality of water in
your living area and the frequency that you
use the kettle.
5. The power cord can be wound around the
bottom of the base for storage.
6. Do not attempt to dismantle the kettle or
power base. No user serviceable parts inside
it. In the event of a malfunction, contact your
local qualified service technician for advice.
NOTE: This kettle has an overheating
protector in the kettle. In the event of
overheating, such as operating without
water in the kettle or the water being
boiled-dry, the kettle will automatically
shut down to prevent further damage.
