As  gas  is  turned  on,  all  connection  parts  and  hose

s

  must  be  checked  with  soapy  water 

or  leakage  fluids.  Do  not  use  naked  flame  to  check

  for

  gas  leakage

s

.  All  metal 

components  used during gas connection must be clear of rust. Also check the expiry dates of 
components used. 

The gas inlet of this product is on the right side of the appliance. If connection point needs to be 
moved  to  the  left  side  of  the  appliance,  you  can  request  an  extension  pipe  from 

an

 

authorized service

 company.

What to check during fixed gas connection assembly

-

During connection, always keep the nut on the gas manifold fixed, whilst rotating the

 

counter-part.

-

Use the correct sized spanners to ensure a secure and safe connection.

-

Always use the seals provided in the spare set for all the surfaces between different

 

components, and these seals must have been approved to be used in gas connections.

-

Do not use plumbing seals for gas connections. 

You must call a qualified and certified registered gas fitter to connect the gas to 
the appliance for you so that it's done safely, appropriately and in compliance 
with safety standards.

 

WARNING: Do not use any match or lighter to control a gas leak.
