Clearances to combustible material
Always place a non-combustible insulation plate (false back wall) with a thickness of
min.
1" (2.54 cm) between the appliance and the rear wall and the side wall according to
fi gure 1. Minimum clearances to combustible material must be maintained.
Clearance to combustible ceiling: Place a non-combustible insulation plate (false
ceiling) with a thickness of min. 1¼" (3 cm) at a height of minimum 20" (50 cm) above
the appliance. Maintain a free space of 4" (10 cm) between the insulation plate and a
combustible ceiling. (See also fi gure 13 and 14.)
If the appliance is mounted with the optional free fl oating frame support, maintain a
minimum free space of 40" (1 meter) to a combustible ceiling.
