Turn your cable or DSL modem on by reconnecting the power
supply to the modem.

Before plugging the power cord into the Message Manager,
plug the cord into the wall, then plug the cord into the Message
Manager’s power jack.

Verify that your modem is connected to the Message Manager
by checking the lights on the front of the Message Manager. The
light labeled “WAN” should be ON and blinking green if your
modem is connected correctly to the Message Manager. If it is
not, recheck your connections.

Verify that your computer is connected properly to the Message
Manager by checking that the lights labeled “LAN” is green. If it
is not, recheck your connections.
