Removing Power from the System
Before performing a service or maintenance task, we recommend using the following
procedure to ensure that power has been removed from the system.
To completely remove power from the system:
1 Use the operating system’s
Shutdown
command to power down the system.
2 Disconnect the unit’s two AC power cords from their power source (i.e. wall socket or
power bar).
3 Remove the AC power cords from the two power supply modules on the rear of the
unit.

warranty agreements, only Grass Valley approved replacement parts
must be used when servicing the iTX Playout Appliance 2. Contact
