Ext Audio Metadata 

 
This alarm checks the presence of audio metadata presented on 
the external input (rear panel). 
 
Enable the alarm by selecting the checkbox. 
 
The user sets the detection parameters for this error using two 
sliders: 
 

 

Set Duration (sec) – sets the time interval over which Audio 
metadata coming from the rear-panel RS422 input must be 
continuously present before the condition is flagged and 
the alarm is set. 

 

 

Clear Duration (sec) – sets the time interval over which 
Audio metadata must be continuously absent to clear the 
alarm if it has been set. 

 
Use the 

LED Color

 pull-down to choose the color that will be 

displayed by the status LED on the card edge when an Audio 
Metadata alarm is set. Choices are: 

 

Green, Yellow, Red, Flashing Red 

 

 

 

 

External LTC 

 
This alarm checks the presence of a Linear Time Code 
presented on the external input (rear panel). 
 
Enable the alarm by selecting the checkbox. 
 
The user sets the detection parameters for this error using two 
sliders: 
 

 

Set Duration (sec) – sets the time interval over which 
External TC must be continuously detected before the 
condition is flagged and the alarm is set. 

 

 

Clear Duration (sec) – sets the time interval over which 
External TC must be continuously absent to clear the 
alarm if it has been set. 

 
Use the 

LED Color

 pull-down to choose the color that will be 

displayed by the status LED on the card edge when an External 
LTC alarm is set. Choices are: 

 

Green, Yellow, Red, Flashing Red
