Attention:
For the input module 0980 ESL 311-xxx, the two contacts 1
and 5 are not required for the power supply to the actuators. However,
these two contacts are connected to each other on the connector and
socket side to enable 5-pin transmission of the power supply to a
downstream module.
Attention:
Only use power supply units for the system/sensor and
actuator supply that correspond to PELV (protective extra low voltage)
or SELV (safety extra low voltage). Power supplies according to EN
61558-2-6 (transformers) or EN 60950-1 (switching power supply
units) fulfill these requirements.
Attention:
For UL applications: For modules with a 7/8" housing, use
the "SELV and Limited Energy" power source.
