3.1 Cleaning
A
WARNINGS
• Do not use gasoline, solvent or
abrasive cleaning agents or hard
brushes to clean the appliance.
• Never put vinegar, descaling
agent, laundry starch, perfume or
other auxiliary products that help
ironing into the appliance.
• Do not wash your appliance under
running water or do not soak it in
water or other liquids.
• Do not use abrasive cleaning
agents to clean the soleplate (9).
3.2 Auto calc-clean
• This process allows for cleaning the calc parti-
cles that accumulate in the appliance.
• Use this feature when “CALC-CLEAN” warning
appears on the display.
1. Fill the water tank up to the MAX line and place
the iron on calc cleaning container.
2. Plug in the iron.
“CALC-CLEAN” blinks three
times and it lits continuously after three “beep”
sounds.
3. Push and hold temperature adjustment (7) and
steam setting buttons (11) simultaneously for
5 seconds. You will hear the “beep” sound and
calc cleaning begins.
4. Calc cleaning lasts approximately 3 minutes and
stops with the “beep” sound. “CALC-CLEAN”
signal disappears and the iron is set to the last
function used.
5. Unplug the iron after the automatic calc cleaning
process ends. Wait for the soleplate and calc
cleaning container to cool down.
6. Empty the water tank and the calc cleaning
container.
