Shock steam
During steam ironing, pressing the
shock steam button will generate
very powerful steam to smooth the
much-crinkled fabrics. Allow 5 to 10
seconds after pressing 4-5 times.
When using the iron for the first
time, the first few pushes may not
generate shock steam. Shock steam
can only be used when temperature
setting is at position •• or above.
(Figure 6)
Water spray
You can make the fabric wet with
water sprayed from the front of the
iron by pressing the spray button
while dry or steam ironing.
Vertical steam
Shock steam button operates also
when the iron is in upright position.
This helps refreshing the ironing of
some clothes while they are on the
hanger by taking the iron close to the
cloth and pressing the shock steam
button. This feature can be used for
creased curtains as well. (Figure 7)
Caution:
Do not spray steam to
clothes or fabrics that are on people
or on pets. The steam has a very
high temperature. This function
generates extra steam to remove the
creases on the clothes on hangers,
the curtains or the hanging fabrics.
Water tank
Since your iron has a high steam
performance, the tank may run out
of water during ironing. In that case,
just unplug the iron to refill the tank.
The amount of water in the iron
can be viewed from the transparent
water tank when holding the iron in
vertical position.
Thermal fuse
Your iron has been equipped with an
additional thermal fuse as a further
safety device in order to prevent
overheating in case thermostat does
not operate for some reason. If your
iron fails to heat, the fuse may be off,
