This instruction manual contains information and refe-
rences necessary for safe instrument operation and use.

Prior to usage read this instruction manual thoroughly and
observe all points.

Failure to comply with the instruction manual and the
warnings and references contained herein can result in

1.0

Introduction / Scope of Supply

The UNITEST Polaris 3 plus instrument range is composed
of general purpose voltage testers with patented safety tech-
nology. The voltage testers are constructed in compliance
with the latest safety regulations and guarantee safe and reli-
able measurement and testing. The fold away test probes, re-
quired by VBG 1 § 35, eliminate any risk of injury when trans-
porting the instrument in clothing pockets or tool boxes. The
voltage testers represent a valuable support for all standard
measurement tasks in handicraft and industrial applications
as well as for household uses.

The Voltage Tester Polaris 3 plus is characterized by the fol-
lowing features:

• Constructed in compliance with DIN VDE 0680 Part 5
• Safety EN 61010, IEC 61010
• Foldable test probes eliminate risk of injury (VBG 1,§ 35

Transport of Tools)

• DC and AC voltage measurement up to 700 V
