Prepare the appliance for use as follows:

Operate the toaster twice at maxi-

mum browning level without bread

Kettle

Fill the kettle up to the MAX mark with

fresh water.
Switch the kettle on by moving the on/

off switch to the "1" position.
Wait until the water boils and the ap-

pliance switches itself off.
Pour out the water.

Repeat the process.
