The higher the temperature, the faster the water is pressed
through the powder. The aromas change depending on how
fast the water is pressed through the powder. You should try
out what tastes best to you here.

Preheat your coffee cups with hot water or use thick-sided
mugs so that your coffee does not cool down too quickly.

Stir the coffee in the coffee container again, or pour it alter-
nately into the cups, so that each portion of coffee has the
same strength and the same taste.
Making Coffee
Before you
fi
rst enjoy coffee, you should clean all parts of
the espresso maker to remove any possible production
residues. To do this, follow the instructions in the "Clean-
ing and Care" chapter.

1. Fill the water container up to below the valve with warm or
hot water.
2. Place
the
fi
lter into the water container and
fi
ll it up to the
rim with coffee powder. Smooth down the coffee powder,
but do
not
press it
fi
rm!
3. Screw the coffee container onto the water container.
CAU-
TION
: Use a towel, potholders or oven gloves as the water
container is also hot due to the hot water.
4. Place the espresso maker on the stove on a medium heat.
