6. If you have not already done so, place the silicone insert
with drip stop at the bottom of the water container. Make
sure that the round head of the drip stop is pointing
downwards.
7. If you have not already done so, place the seal at the
bottom of the water container.
8. Fill the water container with cold water and ice cubes if
necessary. Cover up the air hole with one
fi
nger as you do
this so that no water escapes.
9. Place the water container on the coffee jug with permanent
fi
lter. Press the seals
fi
rmly against each other.
10. Place the lid on the water container.
11. Wait until all the water has run through the permanent
fi
lter. This takes around 2 to 4 hours depending on the
amount of coffee and grinding
fi
neness.
12. Take off the water container.
13. Take the permanent
fi
lter out of the coffee jug.
14. As lots of
fl
avour emerges from the coffee at the beginning
of the extraction and this gradually decreases during the
extraction, it is essential to stir around the cold drip coffee
before you enjoy it.
15. Place the lid on the coffee jug.
16. You can now pour the cold drip coffee straight into your
favourite cup or store it in the fridge.
