Loosen the cap on the liquid waste

bottle to release pressure

Press the button on the quick

disconnects and remove the tubing

from the bottle cap

Unscrew the bottle cap. Point the

bottle cap away from you and

immediately attach it to a clean liquid

waste bottle

Connect the clean liquid waste bottle

by reattaching the quick disconnects

Remove the full liquid waste bottle from the

fluids tray, and replace it with the clean

liquid waste bottle

Is Access

Running

Decontaminate the contents of the liquid

waste bottle according to standard

laboratory practices

Thoroughly rinse the liquid waste bottle to

remove any traces of decontaminant.

Store the liquid waste bottle for future use

Empty Access Liquid Waste
