Figure 18 is an example of inserted bases caused by contaminated template.
Corrective Actions:
1.
Prepare the DNA template in such a manner as to avoid the incorporation of
mixed templates.
2.
In some instances when the contaminating templates are present in very small
quantities simple dilution of the sample will decrease the contaminating
sequence to a level where an acceptable sequence call can be made.

Should not see peaks under peaks, as the gel
has one base resolving power.
