Safety Information
Caution
• Only use in dry rooms (SWC441-II).
• Dispose of dead batteries properly. Only replace batteries with ones of the same type (CR 2430) (SWC441-II).
• Only use original, unmodified Becker parts.
• Keep people out of the range of travel of the systems.
• Keep children away from the control units.
• Observe country-specific regulations.
• If the system is controlled by one or several transmitters, the system's range of travel must always be visible
during operation.
• Observe the specifications for the sun protection system.
• When programming the transmitter, ensure that the range of travel of the sun protection system is unobstructed,
as it may extend immediately.
Programming the transmitter
1) Ready the SWC510 for programming
Press the programming button on the SWC510. The SWC510 is
ready to programme for 3 minutes.
2) Programming the master transmitter
Press the programming button on the SWC441-II for 3 sec-
onds when it is ready to programme.
The awning shifts to confirm.
Note
If a transmitter is already programmed on the
receiver, press the programming button for
10 seconds.
Setting the sun and wind thresholds
Note
When setting the threshold, ensure that no button is
pressed and the awning is located between the limit
positions.
1. Setting the sun threshold
Use the tool provided to turn the sun threshold regulator to the
desired setting.
The sun threshold has 15 possible settings (approx. 2 klux to
100 klux). When slowly turning the regulator, the awning shifts
to indicate the intervals.
2. Setting the wind threshold
Use the tool provided to turn the wind threshold regulator to
the desired setting.
The wind threshold has 11 possible settings (approx. 2 m/s to
22 m/s). When slowly turning the regulator, the awning shifts
to indicate the intervals.
3. Checking settings
After the thresholds are set, the system automatically switches to the TEST mode. In the TEST mode, the shade function and
wind monitoring times are shortened. The functions can be checked in the slide switch position .
The TEST mode automatically ends after approx. 15 minutes or as soon as the slide switch is activated.
Note
Prior to proceeding with the installation, please check if the wiring of the retract and extend button corre-
sponds to the running direction of your sun protection device.
